Kvinnan är vaken och stabil/The female victim is awake and in stable condition
Den judiska kvinnan som utsattes för den mordiska knivattacken i centrala Helsingborg i tisdags morse har opererats och hennes tillstånd är stabilt. Kvinnan, som sitter i styrelsen för Judiska församlingen i nordvästra Skåne, tackar för all kärlek, böner och goda tankar.
Polisen har gripit en man i 30-årsåldern som är misstänkt för attacken. Enligt SVT är mannen sedan tidigare känd för de rättsvårdande myndigheterna och det finns ingenting som tyder just nu på att attacken hade ett antisemtiskt hatbrottsmotiv.
Judiska Församlingen Malmös kris- och katastrofgrupp har erbjudit stöd till församlingen i Helsingborg i form av psykologhjälp och krishantering. Rabbin Moshe-David HaCohen har också träffat den drabbade kvinnans man, som tackar för hjälpen.
English: The Jewish woman who was stabbed several times Tuesday morning in Helsingborg has come out of surgery and is now awake and in a stable condition.
The police have arrested a 30-year old man suspected for perpetrating the attack. Per the Swedish public service web news channel, SVT Nyheter, the suspect was known by the police and other authorities prior to the attack and there is currently not any evidence indicating that the attack had a hate crime motive.
The woman who was stabbed is in her 60s and a member of the board of the Jewish community of Helsingborg. She is grateful for all the expressions of love that has been conveyed to her and her family.
The Jewish community of Malmö’s crisis and disaster group has offered support to the Jewish community of Helsingborg, in terms of psychologists and crisis counselling. Malmö’s orthodox community rabbi Moshe-David HaCohen has also met the woman’s husband who has expressed gratitude for all the assistance that he and his family has been offered.
